Der neue Schatten
Der neue Schatten is a fictional product that I put together. The main focus was to challenge myself and create a short animated sequence using 3D software. I chose to model a lampshade to create some interesting shapes and use the light coming through the shade in a cinematic approach.

Here are some stills from the full animation. Details are key, so it was important to pay attention to them. Creating the speckled material we see at the base of the lamp shade really helped to solidify the product in reality.
The model was also designed to be potentially 3D printed. The STL files are pretty much ready to go (I just need to learn how to solder!).
